For one of our clients, a Geneva and in Zurich based Private Bank, we are looking for a Private Banker – LATAM

Mission

The Private Banker is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients by delivering tailored wealth‑management solutions, strengthening long‑term relationships, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The role combines advisory excellence, commercial development, and risk‑aware portfolio oversight.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for HNW and UHNW individuals in the LATAM region.
  • Identify client needs and propose bespoke investment, lending, and wealth‑planning solutions.
  • Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
  • Coordinate investment strategies with internal specialists (Advisory, Investment Solutions, Wealth Planning).
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure alignment with client objectives and risk appetite.
  • Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC/KYT, suitability, cross‑border, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, investment proposals, and periodic reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless execution of client requests.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and support onboarding processes.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through proactive commercial initiatives and cross‑selling opportunities.

Profile :

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management
  • Excellent financial and investment knowledge
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio construction
  • Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and cross‑border rules
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and portfolio growth
