Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Specialist to drive business development and client acquisition in the Swiss and European markets. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to demonstrate our digital wealth management solutions to prospective clients and support the sales team in closing strategic deals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Solution Design
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects
- Analyze client needs and design customized wealth management solutions
- Lead technical discussions with C-level executives, CIOs, and decision-makers
- Prepare detailed proposals, RFP responses, and business cases
- Support due diligence processes and technical evaluations
Sales Support & Revenue Generation
- Collaborate closely with sales team to identify and qualify opportunities
- Participate in client meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Develop ROI models and business justifications for prospects
- Support contract negotiations from a technical perspective
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and opportunity tracking
Product & Market Intelligence
- Provide market feedback to product development teams
- Stay current with wealth management trends and regulatory requirements
- Monitor competitive landscape and positioning strategies
- Contribute to marketing materials and case studies
- Support thought leadership initiatives and content creation
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in financial services, wealth management, or FinTech
- 3+ years in pre-sales, business development, or client-facing technical roles
- Technical certifications in relevant platforms/technologies
- Proven track record in B2B software/platform sales (preferably financial services)
- Experience with wealth management platforms, portfolio management systems, or trading technologies
- Deep understanding of wealth management processes and workflows
- Knowledge of portfolio management, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, and asset classes
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (MIFID II, GDPR, Swiss banking regulations)
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and digital transformation projects
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial mindset with consultative selling approach
- Fluent in English and German or French (written and spoken)
- Additional European languages advantageous
